Every surface we make is covered by a workmanship warranty. This covers defects that result from the production process — incorrect dimensions relative to the confirmed blueprint, finish failures, joint failures, or structural problems that originate in the construction.
What the warranty does not cover
Wood is a natural material. Natural variation in grain, colour, and figure is a property of the material — not a defect. Seasonal movement — slight expansion in humid conditions, slight contraction in dry conditions — is normal behaviour for solid wood. Surface marks, scratches, and wear that develop through use are not covered. These are the marks of a surface that is being used.
Care and maintenance
Proper care significantly extends the life and appearance of any wood surface. Maintenance and care guides ship with every order. Following the guidance in those documents is the most reliable way to keep the surface performing well over time.
